The US Veteran’s Administration provides substantial benefits for elderly veterans and the spouses of US Veterans that provide for a comfortable and independent retirement. These benefits provide for home health care, home caregiver assistance for groceries and maintenance, physical and speech therapy for home convalescence and many more. Unfortunately many elderly veterans are reluctant or unable to pursue these benefits due to lack of information or insufficient notification on the part of the Veterans’ Administration.

To address this the Veteran’s Administration will be expanding their outreach services to elderly veterans and their families to insure that our nation fulfills her obligation to her bravest sons. In addition to expanding the scope of benefits, the VA is making a more concerted effort to let veterans become aware of these benefits by their publications.
